Aaron Michael Kirk

Aaron Michael Kirk, age 27, of Mt. Sterling, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 7, 2024.  Born October 8, 1996 in London, Ohio, he attended Madison Plains High School.   Aaron was preceded in death by his grandparents Elizabeth Dotson, Maxine Kirk and Richard Holliday, Sr.  He is survived by his mother and step-father Dorothy “Cricket” and Donald Holliday, father Jonathan Michael Kirk, Sr., daughter Paisley Basnett, girlfriend Miriah Crissinger, his dog Buddy, brothers Jonathan Kirk, Jr. and Andrew (Taylor Glidden) Kirk, sister Elizabeth (Ronnie) Vansickle, step-brother Jake (Cheyanne) Ison, step-sisters Emily Holliday and Tiffany Row, grandparents Lawrence (Tammy) Dotson, Paul Kirk, and Ruth Holliday, and his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  

Known for his shy nature and brilliant intellect, Aaron carried a profound personal reserve but was always there for those who needed him.  He leaves behind a rich legacy, including a beautiful daughter who will forever mirror his heart.  He loved his steadfast companion and protective dog Buddy.  His loved ones will carry forward the special memories that Aaron created.  His spirit lives on in the joy and wisdom he shared.  In his passing, Aaron has left behind a void that can never be filled.   His impact on the lives of those he loved will be a guiding light in the days to come.  His memory will be a testament to a life well-lived by a man who lived not only for himself, but for those he loved.  

Family will receive friends from 11:00a.m.-1:00p.m. WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 14, 2024 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 West Main Street, Mt. Sterling, OH 43143 (740)-869-2777 where his Funeral Service will follow the visitation and begin at 1:00p.m. WEDNESDAY with Pastor Bill Davis, officiating.  Interment will follow the service at Pleasant Cemetery, Mt. Sterling, OH.
