Alice Mae Richards

Alice Mae Richards, age 86, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021. She enjoyed going to the casinos and playing solitaire, listening to bluegrass music, and most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends. Alice never knew a stranger and treated everyone like family. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, William F. Richards; sisters, Louise Hawkins, Vonnie Mathews, and Deloris Allison; brother, William McNeilan; and grandchild Matthew L. Richards. Alice is survived by her children, Russell (Debbie) Richards, Ricky Richards, and Robbie (Shana) Richards; sister, Donna Ruth; grandchildren, Tammy (Bob) Sweet, Michael Wilson Jr., Rushelle (Casey) Evans, Ashlee (Aaron) Hyer, Nick Withers, William L. Richards, Amy Jones, Sam (Erica) Synder, and Aaron (Danielle) great-grandchildren, Taylor (Zach), Breanna (Ryan), Mallory, Garitt, Mallory (Colton), Carlee, Jadah, Brooklynne, Kobie, Casey, Gabryel, Rylan, Kersten, Nathan, Destany, and Aires; great-great-grandchild, Oaklynn; loving companion her dog Dozer, her dear friend Sharon Clary, and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am – 1:00 PM on Friday, June 25, 2021, Funeral Services will immediately follow visitation at 1:00 PM, with Rev Dortha Ross officiating, at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 W. Main Street, Mount Sterling, OH, 43143. Interment will be at Pleasant Cemetery, Mount Sterling.
