Annabelle Parrett

Annabelle C. Parrett passed away Friday, November 7, 2014 at Sterling Place where she resided the past two years. She loved her many friends at the residence where special care was given to her.
She was born October 2, 1919 in Darby Township, Pickaway County, Ohio. Daughter of Jesse T. and Louie (Anderson) Stump. She lived her entire life in the Mt. Sterling area.
Member of The United Church since 1944, sang in the church choir for many years; American Legion Auxiliary #417, Mt. Sterling; and Pythian Sisters #472, Harrisburg.
She was preceded in death by husband of 63 years Marvin W., son Alan D., sister Mary L. Bandy.
Survived by good friend and care giver, Nancy Lucas & Jim; cousins Florence Hill of Sylvania, Ohio, J. James Redman of Columbus, OH., Clark Parrett of Grove City, OH.; special friends Jerry (Margie) and David (Mary Beth) Aeh of Columbus.
A Funeral service will be held 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Rev. Dortha Ross and Rev. Steve Brown officiating. The interment will follow in Pleasant Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service beginning at 11:00 am.
