Betsey Furniss, age 85 of Williamsport, passed away February 4, 2016 at her residence. She was born April 22, 1930 in Derby, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Mildred Mouser, sisters Audrey and Pat; sons Baby boy and John Furniss; granddaughter Jonnie Sue Anderson.
Betsey is survived by her loving husband, Jim of 68 years, married 9/23/1947; daughter Rhonda Phillips (Chet), daughter-in-law Susan Furniss; grandchildren Kirk & Stephanie Furniss, Julie (Tim) Wickline, James (Kristen) Phillips; great-grandchildren Dylan & Chase Anderson, Alissa, Alexis, Bryce & Blake Wickline, Hannah and Cooper Phillips; Nieces & Nephews.
A Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Rev. Jim Ferrell officiating with the interment following in Pleasant Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Monday from 5 - 7 p.m.
Family suggest memorial contributions to Berger Hospice 1170 N. Court St., Circleville, Ohio 43113.
