Betty Deardurff

Betty A. Deardurff, age 89 of Mt. Sterling died Sunday, July 22, 2012 at her residence. She was born August 9, 1922 in Pickaway County, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late James and Mae (McKinley) Creamer.
Betty was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Mt. Sterling; she also attended Derby United Methodist Church; Ohio Retired Teachers Assn.; Madison County Retired Teachers; American Legion Auxillary #417 of Mt. Sterling; and member of Madison County Humane Society.
She was preceded in death by first husband, William Dick; second husband, Joe Deardurff; sister, Hilda Jane (James) Bayes; and brother, Marvin Creamer.
She is survived by nephew Michael Bayes and his wife Kathy of Orient; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 25, 2012 from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 p.m. at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. A Graveside service will follow at 2:30 in Pleasant Cemetery with Morris Bayes, Jr. officiating.
Family suggest memorial contributions to First United Methodist Church, Mt. Sterling or Madison County Humane Society.
