Beverly Bobo, 73 of Mt. Sterling, died Thursday, April 5, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 14, 1944 in Plumwood, Ohio.
She was Treasurer of Mt. Sterling Friends of the Library, an avid flower gardener, loved to watch and feed the birds, she was a "favorite" Aunt to many of her numerous nieces and nephews, and most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by parents, Lawrence and Cecil Nixon, toddler sister, Mildred Nixon, brother Billy Nixon, brother and best friend, Ross "Bud" Nixon.
She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Larry H. Bobo; children Larry E. (Wendy) Bobo, Kathy (Kevin) Spegal, Melissa (Phillip) Reece, Karie (Chuck) Henson; 9 grandchildren, Renee (Zach) Shoaf, Ray (Christine) Reece, Ryan (De) Bobo, Roxanne (Mitchell) Henson, Michael Spegal, Jared (Britney) Bobo, Colby (Lindsey) Reece, Curtis Henson and Mitchell Henson; 6 great-grandchildren, Alex Reece, Scarlett and Graylin Bobo, Rylan and Zane Shoaf, Annabelle Edwards.
Family will receive friends on Monday, April 9, 2018 from 3 - 7 p.m. at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. A Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Pastor Larry Baker and Pastor Owen Stotts officiating.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation will follow.
