Billy “Joe” Pennington, age 59, of Washington Court House, Ohio went to his Heavenly Home on Saturday morning January 1, 2022, at Dunbar Health and Rehab Center in Dayton, Ohio where he had resided since December, 2019. Though in failing health, Joe’s death was unexpected. Joe was born August 5, 1962, in Paintsville, Kentucky to Nova Pennington. Joe was a 1980 graduate of Miami Trace High School and was a proud alumnus of the Miami Trace Panthers. He loved his family, the Kentucky Wildcats, and loved life as he exemplified in his last five years. Joe was preceded in death by his beloved Mom, Nova Pennington, grandparents Ronald and Delia Pennington, aunt Bert Ison, aunt Anna Lou Pennington, uncles Bronard, Eudell, and Charlie Pennington, and Autie Ison. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his uncle Jimmy Pennington of Red Bush, KY, his loving caregivers, aunt and uncle Judy and Dean Penrod of Washington Court House, several cousins, and a host of friends. Family will receive friends 4:00p.m.-7:00p.m. THURSDAY at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 West Main Street, Mt.
