Charles Carlisle

Charles Irving Carlisle, 78, of Mt. Sterling died August 29, 2018 in Grant Medical Center, Columbus.  He was born September 26, 1939 in Ironton, Ohio. Charles served in the US Air Force for 20 years; member of Mt. Sterling Legion Post #417; retired from CXS Railroad. Preceded in death by his parents, Robert Irving Carlisle and Doris (Shelton) Carlisle. He is survived by wife, Debra; his sons John E., Charles, Jr., Daniel R., and David W.; daughter Candy L.; many grandchildren, Aunt Irene; numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 11 am to 1:00 pm at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 with Billy Warner officiating.  The interment following in Pleasant Cemetery with military honors being given by the Circleville Amvets Post #2256.
