Cheryl Jo George

Cheryl Jo (Justice) George, age 64, of Washington Court House, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, January 30, 2024. She enjoyed sewing and puzzles, but what she loved most of all was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. 

She is preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Carolyn; husband Lee George and sister Carol Patterson. 

Cheryl is survived by her children Joey (Jennifer) George, JoLeigh (Gabe) George, and Jamison George; brother Donnie Justice, and sister Kim (Marty) Snively; grandchildren Gaze George, Gwen George, Jaysa Walisa “Go to girl”, Adlee George, and Cade Roberson; numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and best friend Donna Skaggs.  

The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00pm on Friday, February 2, 2024, where Funeral Service with Pastor Billy Warner officiating will immediately follow visitation at 4:00 PM, at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 W. MAIN STREET, MT. STERLING, OH, 43143. 

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in memory of Cheryl may be made to the Fayette County Cancer Foundation, PO Box 322, Washington Court House, OH, 43160.
