Cynthia Yensel

Cynthia (Michael) Yensel, 61, of London, Ohio, passed away November 17, 2014 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born June 8, 1953 in Wabash, Indiana.
Cindy was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister.
Cindy worked as a nurse in Children's Hospitals for nearly 40 years. Recently she was a Nurse Practitioner at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio for the last 13 years.
Cindy was one of a kind kindred spirit. She always focused on the needs of others before hers. She flourished in her profession with a positive "can-do" attitude and was unafraid to take on a difficult situation. Her love for her family and friends will be greatly missed.
Cindy was also an avid Indiana Hoosier basketball fan and loved her college basketball.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory; her parents Kennith and Jenine Michael of South Whitley, IN.; her husband Frank Yensel; sons Phillip Yensel (wife Rachel) and Stuart Yensel (wife Mindy); step-children Thomas, Tracie, and Tiffany Yensel; 3 grandchildren Nikolai, Naomi, and Aleksander Yensel; 9 step-grandchildren; 1 step great-grandchild; brothers Marvin (Jan) Michael of Claypool, IN. and Ben (Deeda) Michael of Pierceton, IN.; sisters Gwen (Brock) Ostrom and Beverly (Kris) Dierks, both of Claypool, IN.
A Memorial service will be held at the Mt. Sterling First Church of the Nazarene in Mt. Sterling, Ohio on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. Rev. Jeff Griffith officiating with her final resting place being in Fischers Cemetery in Sidney, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jimmy V Foundation for Cancer Research. (jimmyv.org)
