David Ratcliff

David V. Ratcliff, age 78, of Orient, passed away December 15, 2024. Member of Southwest Nazarene Church. US Army Veteran serving in Vietnam from 1967-1968 and received a Purple Heart. He retired from the State of Ohio and was a member of Harrisburg V.F.W. Post # 11208. David loved spending time with family and was a friend to all. He will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched. Preceded in death by parents Homer and Dolly (Holbrook) Ratcliff, brother Raybourn Ratcliff, daughter Stephanie Allen, grandson Canyon Boyd Ratcliff and sister-in-law Joyce. Survived by loving wife of 53 years Pamela, son Jason (Danielle) Ratcliff, sister Christine (Ed) Chapman, Larry (Diane) Ratcliff and Milton Ratcliff, grandchildren Faith (Allen) Josh Fralick, Banner (Kenzie) Ratcliff and Honor Ratcliff, son-in-law Patrick (Amy) Allen, many loving relatives and friends. Family will receive friends Thursday, December 19, 2024 from 11am-1pm at PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 W. Main Street, Mount Sterling, Ohio, 43143; where funeral service will follow at 1pm.
