Donna L. Johnson

Donna L Johnson, 64, of Mount Sterling, OH passed away August 20th, 2022 at Adena Regional Medical Center with her daughter and son-in-law by her side. She was born July 6, 1958 in Hamilton, OH to Charles and Ima Jean (Sparkman) Hines. 

 

Donna loved spending time with family and friends, traveling to her favorite places - Amish Country, West Virginia, Kentucky and Tennessee, she was a Halloween enthusiast and loved going to the Halloween campout at Deer Creek State Park. 

 

Donna is preceded in death by her father Charles Hines, Mother-in-law and best friend Loretta Johnson, good friends Phil Yahn and Jonelle Peake.

Donna is survived by her mother: Ima Jean (Sparkman) Hines, children Thomas Johnson Jr., of Mount Sterling, Jennifer & Keith Wilson Jr., of Washington Court House, siblings Danny (Nancy) Hines & Richard Hines both of Washington Court House and Susan (Kevin) Manns, of Washington Court House, the father of her children Michael (Kathe) Johnson, brother-in-law Keith (Karen) Johnson, sister-in-law April Hines, grandchildren Emily, Danielle, Desiree and Ethan Johnson, Abby Harris, children she loved as her own grandchildren Kendall and Kyra Bennett, Olivia and Caleb Layton.

 

Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Life long friends Brenda Yahn, Linda Cummings, Kim Rutherford and Debbie Cavener, 

 

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, August 25, at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 W. MAIN STREET, MOUNT STERLING, OH, 43143, interment following at Fairview Cemetery in Jeffersonville. Family will receive family at 11 a.m. and friends at 12 p.m. 

 

A dinner will follow burial services at the Lions Club in Jeffersonville, food will be received beginning at 11 a.m.
