Douglas Ramsey

Douglas Ramsey, age 57, born in Columbus, Ohio on February 15, 1965, passed away at his home in Mt. Sterling, OH in March, 2022. Doug was a loving father and grandfather. He had a rough exterior with one of the biggest, warmest hearts around. He loved animals, guns, gardening, photography, and  tinkering with computers and motorcycles. He was a graduate of St. Francis DeSales High School, Class of 1983. Doug was preceded in death by mother R. Patricia Ramsey.  He is survived by his father Russell Ramsey and Sherry Ramsey of Naples, FL, his daughter A. Cole  Ramsey, grandchildren John and Connor Mehl of Columbus, Ohio, brothers Daniel (Melanie)  Ramsey, Dennis Ramsey, step-sister Tracy Nelson, step-brother Jeff (Anne) Nelson, former  sister-in-law Venice Ramsey, and several nieces and nephews. The Tidd Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, OH 43026 (614)-876-1722 is handling arrangements and there will be a private family service.
