Eleanor Arbogast

Eleanor Arbogast, age 97, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2013. Member of the First United Methodist Church of Mt. Sterling, UMW, Sterling Chapter 374 O.E.S. for 69 years, 20th Century Club, Bridge Card Clubs, Capital University Women’s Club and Washington C.H. Country Club where she received an elusive “hole in one”. Preceded in death by loving husband John Arbogast, parents Edward and Ida Mae Strobel and son-in-law Jack Mayo. Survived by daughters Wanda Mayo of Naples, FL, Bonnie (Charles) Stump of Mt. Sterling, OH, and Teresa Flateby of Tampa, FL; grandchildren Bill (Carol) Stump of CA, David (Rasheeda) Stump of Columbus, OH, Lisa (Paul) Weinbaum of NM, and Eric Flateby of FL; great-grandchildren Olivia Weinbaum, Alexandra Stump, Will Stump, David Stump, and Charlie Stump, numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of good friends. Family will receive friends 4-7 pm Wednesday at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME 331 W. Main St. Mt. Sterling, OH 43143 where an Eastern Star service will take place at 7 pm. A funeral service will be held 11 am Thursday at FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH 110 S. London St. Mt. Sterling, OH 43143 with Pastor Mike Berne officiating. Interment Pleasant Cemetery.
