JOHNSON Ethel C. Johnson, age 83 of Mt. Sterling, passed away Easter Sunday, April 8, 2012 in Fayette County Memorial Hospital. She was born September 2, 1928 in Belle County, Kentucky.
She was the daughter of the late John and Lunda (Overton) Johnson.
Also preceded in death by sisters Opal (Otis) Remy, Dessie Johnson; brothers Luther, Albert, and Arthur Johnson.
She is survived by her loving sister with whom she made her home, Loretta Johnson; sons Keith (Karen) Johnson; Kenneth (Gloria) Johnson; Michael (Kathryn) Johnson; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
A Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Rev. Densil Wright officiating with the interment following in Pleasant Cemetery.
Family will receive friends one hour prior to time of service beginning at 12:00 Noon.
