Eugene M. Sebring III passed away December 6, 2011 at the age of 68 in his home in Mt. Sterling. Born October 21, 1944 to Eugene M. Sebring II, U.S.A.F., WWII Veteran Bomber Pilot and career airplane structural engineer; and Beulah M. Sebring, homemaker. He attended Hilliard High School then, like his father, joined the U.S.A.F where he served during the Vietnam War as an aircraft radio repairman. After his time in the military he began a career as a combination welder-fitter during which he gained proficiency at arc, mig, and tig techniques. His marriages to Karen Strohschein and Sarah Wills ended in divorce. He is survived by his father, Eugene M. Sebring II; sister and her spouse, Janet and Brian O’Keefe; stepbrother and his spouse, Jack and Amy Shannon; daughter and her spouse, Kimberly and Mitchell Haaf; granddaughter McKenna Chapman; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Preceded in death by his mother, Beulah M. Sebring; stepmother Marilyn J. Sebring; stepsister Sue Biddiscombe; and beloved son Eugene M. Sebring IV. Memorial service to be held at a later date.
