Gerald E. Hunt, Jr.

Gerald E. Hunt, Jr., age 76, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024.

Jerry was a proud U.S. Air Force combat veteran serving in Vietnam, a graduate of West High School Class of 1966, and a retired cabinet maker with the City of Columbus. He was an avid golfer with three holes-in-one, and he loved the Buckeyes. He was a friend to all and a stranger to none. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Rose Hunt, Sr., and son Gerald Hunt, III.

Jerry is survived by his sister Lynda (Curtis) Marcum, brother Charlie (Heather) Hunt, stepson John Hunt, special friend Barb Demetro, niece Polly (Mark) Delong, great-nephew Curtis Ewing, and many friends. 

Following Jerry’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
