Geraldine Blankenship

Geraldine Blankenship, 72, of Mt. Sterling passed away Monday, October 22, 2018 in Mt. Carmel West (ER) Columbus. She was born September 2, 1946 in Floyd County, KY.   Preceded in death by her parents, John and Myrtle (Yates) Fannin; husband, Bobby Blankenship; sisters Kathryn, Brenda, and Bonita; brothers John Lee and Beryl C. children Bobby (Tina) Blankenship, Teresa Blankenship, Chris (Karen) Blankenship, Melissa Blankenship, Brett Blankenship (fiance' Christina); she loved spending time with her 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.  They were the love of her life. Numerous nieces & nephews. A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling.  Rev. James Blankenship officiating with the interment following in Pleasant Cemetery.  Family will receive friends one hour prior to service beginning at 12:00 noon.
