Goldie Virginia Dingus, age 82 of Mt. Sterling died Friday, June 21, 2013 at her residence. She was born April 7, 1931 in Piketon, Ohio.
Goldie was a member of the Waterloo Church of Christ and Christian Union.
Preceded in death by parents Alice McCoy and Fred Dingus; 7 siblings, 3 children Steven, Melvin, and Peggy.
She is survived by loving husband of 66 years, Carl Dingus, Sr.; siblings Tom (Donna) Dingus and Mabel Ford; 9 children Virginia (Larry) Williams of Washington Court House, Jerry (Joyce) Dingus of London, Ted Dingus of London, Marianne (Ray) Gilbert of New Holland, Sam Dingus of Florida, Nancy (Larry) Cline of Mt. Sterling, Tim (Angie) Dingus of Orient, Judith Smoot of Mt. Sterling, Carl (Kelli) Dingus, Jr. of Taiwan R.O.C.; 23 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; special family members Roger Armentrout, Patty Gartin, and Terri Brown.
A Funeral service will be held 10:00 am on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. The interment will follow in Bailey Chapel Cemetery in Piketon, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Monday, the 24th from 6 – 8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers family suggest memorial contributions to Berger Hospice of Pickaway County.
