Gordon Dale Tandeske

TANDESKE Gordon Dale Tandeske, age 70 of Lennon, Michigan, died Thursday, December 22, 2011 at Hurley Medical Center. He was born April 27, 1941 in Flint, MI., the son of Leo and Eva (Spencer) Tandeske. He married Sue Ellen O’Day on February 5, 1966 in Tampa, FL. And she preceded him in death on July 30, 2005.
Mr. Tandeske was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in the Vietnam War and retiring as a Master Sergeant in 1980. He also owned and operated a family farm after retiring. Gordon was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Durand; VFW and DAV. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving are daughter, Diane Tandeske and husband, Jeff Beacham of Lennon; three grandchildren, Alexander, Amber and Amy Sue Beacham. A Graveside service will be held 1:00 pm on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Bethel Cemetery, Mt. Sterling. A military service will be performed by the Circleville Amvets Post #2256. Visitation will be held 10 am – 12 Noon at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling.
