James Herbert King

James Herbert King, age 70, formerly of Washington Court House, Ohio, died Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Mercy Fairfield Hospital in Fairfield, Ohio.  James was born to the late Elmer King and Della (Rowe) Maggard.  James lived in a group home with his caregivers in Fairfield, Ohio after his mother’s death in 2008.  James has no surviving family.  The Mt. Sterling and Washington Court House communities are invited to attend his visitation and funeral service on THURSDAY, DECEMBER 30, 2021 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 West Main Street, Mt. Sterling, Ohio 43143 (740)-869-2777.  Visitation will be from 10:00a.m.-11:00a.m. THURSDAY with the Funeral Service following at 11:00a.m.  Pastor Jim Blankenship will officiate the service.  Burial will follow at Pleasant Cemetery, Mt.
