James Pinkerman

On November 14, James Pinkerman of Grove City, Ohio, passed away peacefully after a 3-month battle with cancer. He passed with his beloved fiancé, Sue Caulley, and his beloved sister, Sherri Rarey by his side holding his hands. He was a graduate of West High School in Columbus, Ohio. He was a Vietnam veteran serving our country with the United States Navy. He was retired from the United States Postal Service. He and Sue spent the winters in Florida and enjoyed the new friends he made there.

James is survived by the love of his life, Sue Caulley; his sister Sherri (John) Rarey; children, Brandi (Troy) McCutchen, Heather (Hero) Funai of Japan, Ashley Pinkerman, and Nick Pinkerman; grandchildren, Michi, and Maaya Funai, and Kayla McCutchen; nieces Sarah (Kevin) Flanigan, and Rachel Harned, and numerous other relatives. Randa Levesque, Audreya Williams, Caleb Williams, and Karley Barker.

He is preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Pinkerman, mother Lillian Pinkerman, grandmother Sarah Coulson, son Anthony James Pinkerman, sisters Frieda Myers, Juanita Meadows, Dolores Lynch, brother Dolph Pinkerman, and beloved dog Maggie.

Per his request, there will be no services held. If you wish to honor his memory, contributions can be made in his memory to Hospice of Central Ohio, PO Box 430, Newark, Ohio, 43058-0430.
