Janet Porter

Janet “Shorty” Porter, age 71, of Mt. Sterling, born May 26, 1940, passed away March 6, 2012. Preceded in death by parents Harry and Marcella Porter. Survived by brothers Bud (Mona) Porter of Kerrville, TX and Dean (Joyce) Porter of Mt. Sterling. Family will receive friends 10- 11 Friday at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 West Main St, Mt. Sterling, OH 43143; where funeral service will follow at 11 am Friday with Rev. Gordon Ell officiating from the church Christ and Christina Union, Sedalia, OH. In honoring the family’s wishes, cremation will follow.
