Janet Lee (Rinehart) Hunt

Janet Lee (Rinehart) Hunt, of Lake Placid, Florida, passed away on Wednesday evening, April 23, 2025. She was in the companionship of loving family members. Janet was born in Madison County, Ohio, on March 14, 1940, the daughter of Carl and Artie Rinehart.

Janet has been a Lake Placid resident for the past 41 years. She was a member of the Memorial United Methodist Church in Lake Placid. She earned a degree in nursing and worked as an LPN at the Lake Placid Health Care Center for 14 years. Her hobbies were gardening, golf cart rides, NASCAR, the Tampa Bay Rays, and Ohio State Football. She had a deep love of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and cherished her family gatherings.

Janet is survived by her children Jonda Allan, Ja-Rel Baird (Clare), Justin Baird (Karri), 6 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren. Her husband, Earl, and sister, Sue Upton, preceded her in death.

Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 11:00am, at Bethel Cemetery, Mt. Sterling, Ohio.
