Jean Turvy

Jean E.Turvy, age 99 of London died Monday evening, March 28, 2016 at her residence. She was born February 6, 1917 in Madison County, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Laren and Marguerite (Toops) Gossard.
Jean was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in London; Sunday School Teacher of numerous years; a Dietary Aide for Madison County Hospital; London Chapter #386 O.E.S.; Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America; Past Masters Ladies; a volunteer of Madison Health Auxiliary.
Preceded in death by husband, Harry K. Turvy, Jr.; son, Ned G. Turvy.
Survived by her loving son, William Turvy of London; brother Jim Gossard of Mt. Sterling.
A Funeral service will be held 11:00 am at the First Presbyterian Church in London on Friday, April 1, 2016. Rev. Gordon Johnson officiating with the interment following in Kirkwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to First Presbyterian Church, 211 Garfield Ave., London, OH. 43140 or Loving Care Hospice.
The family is being served by the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling.
