Jeffrey M. Long, age 59, of Williamsport, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on January 21, 2021. He was proceeded in death by his parents Eldon and Lois Long of Williamsport, Ohio. He was also proceeded in death by his sister, Vanessa Long also from Williamsport, Ohio.
He is survived by his first wife Vicki Cook of 22 years from Pomeroy, Ohio and his girlfriend, Pam Whited for the last 20 years of his life from Williamsport, Ohio. Jeff is survived by his brother Jay Long, from Circleville, Ohio. He is also survived by four children Jenny (Daniel) Tenney of Gallipolis, Ohio; Michael (Tracy) Long of Amelia, Ohio; Garret (Kimberly) Long of Pomeroy, Ohio; and Jesse (Julie) Long of Batavia, Ohio. Jeff is survived by six grandchildren: Stella Long of Amelia, Ohio; Garret W. Long, Tessa Long, Emma Long, Logan Long of Pomeroy, Ohio; and Ivan Long of Batavia, Ohio. He is survived by several nieces, nephews, and special family friends.
Jeff worked for G&J Pepsi-Cola Bottlers Company in both Athens and Columbus, Ohio for more than 20 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming, camping, working on vehicles, collecting tools, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was also an avid Ohio State fan. He loved attending and buying items from auctions. He would give his shirt off of his back to help those around him.
As per Jeff’s wishes, there will be no services. A small family gathering will take place at a later date.
