JoAnn Markham

JoAnn (Rowley) Markham, age 82 of London died Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at her residence. She was born April 4, 1930 in Pickaway County, Ohio. She was retired from Mt. Carmel Medical Center; a member of Trinity United Methodist Church of Lilly Chapel of which she was the pianist for many years. She had a love of music, cooking, football and the days that were spent at the Harrisburg Senior Center.
She was the daughter of the late Oscar and Velma (Huffman) Rowley. Also preceding her in death was husband Rufus Markham, Jr. and brother William Rowley.
She is survived by children Cathy Baer, Christy Meeker, Suzanne (Ted) Daniels, and John (Nancy) Markham; grandchildren Vanessa, Megan, Erin, Jake, Jenna, Emily, Samantha, Lauren, Kate, Bob & Brandi; great-grandchildren Hannah, Matt, Sam & Nyla.
A Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 19, 2012 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Rev. Jesse Blevins officiating with the interment following in Pleasant Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Sunday, November 18th from 2 – 5 p.m.
