Joseph George, Jr.

Joseph Lee (Jake) George, Jr., age 59 of New Holland passed away May 5, 2014 after a hard courageous fight with numerous loving family and friends at his bedside. He was born Oct. 9, 1954 in Washington Court House, Ohio.
He was an amazing Dad, Grandpa, and a loving man. He was one-of-a-kind and much larger than life itself.
He started to work at the age of 17 at Versa Corp. then later to Logitech, Inc.
Preceded in death by father Joseph Lee George, Sr.; grandparents James and Mahala Morris, Ben and Dorothy George; numerous Aunts & Uncles.
Survived by wife Jackie; children; Joey George, Jamison George, JoLeigh George, Jeanie (Earl), Brenda (Randy), Teina (John); parents James and Betty Williams; brothers Steve George, Erick (Becky) George, Bob Miller; sister Cheryl (Daniel) Dwyer; grandchildren whom he loved dearly; Jaysa Walisa, Gwen George, Gaze George, Katie, Kirsten, Austin, Ryan, Joey, Christina; several nieces & nephews; numerous family and friends.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 8, 2014 from 4 – 8 p.m. at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. A Funeral service will begin at 8:00 p.m. with Billy Warner officiating. All are welcome to attend with casual dress. In keeping with his wishes, cremation will follow.
