Kenneth W. McMurray, age 75 of Mt. Sterling, passed away January 7, 2015 at his home. He was born October 12, 1939 in Franklin County, Ohio.
Kenney was a long time dairy farmer and then retired after 23 years of service at Stanley Electric in London. Former Madison Plains School Board; member of NFO.
He was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Mary (Rae) McMurray and great-grandson Hunter Prushing.
He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 50 years (March 1965), Barbara McMurray; children Kelly (Roger) Sparks and Saundra McMurray (Craig Neff); grandchildren Elizabeth McMurray (Matt), Heather (Tim) Prushing, Kenneth McMurray (Leslie); great-grandchildren William Payne, Riley Liff, Carson Prushing, and Jason Prushing; special cousin Charles Brown; numerous friends in the community and Stanley Electric.
A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, January 12, 2015 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Rev. Gordon Ell officiating with the interment following in Bethel Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 - 5 pm.
Family suggest memorial contributions to Madison Plains FFA.
