Kimberly A. (Haag) Love-Smith

Kimberly A. (Haag) Love-Smith, age 65, of Mt. Sterling, Ohio, passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, March 8, 2025. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, niece and cousin. She was preceded in death by her parents Gary and Doris Haag. She is survived by her long-time, loving partner of 20 years, Chris, her children Angie (Ben) Walker, Sarah Smith, and Gary “Buddy” Smith, her grandchildren: Marshal Johnston, Levi Wilson, Donovan Gilpen, Josie Smith, and Hunter Walker, her brothers Brad Haag and Rick (Michele) Haag, her aunt Jerri Emrick, along with special friends and cousins.

Kim was a 1977 graduate of Grove City High School. She had worked for many years with Westfall Local Schools and continued helping with children’s learning at King’s Kids Day Care. Her favorite activities were mostly outdoors, which included working in her garden, planting her flowers, being in the pool, going on vacations, and having her many animals.

Family will welcome friends from 2-4p.m. & 6-8p.m. on THURSDAY at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 West Main Street, Mt. Sterling, OH 43143 and again from 10a.m.-11a.m. on FRIDAY, MARCH 14, 2025 where her Funeral Service will follow the visitation and be held at 11:00a.m. FRIDAY with Reverend Angie Taylor, officiating. Casual dress is requested. Kim will be laid to rest at Pleasant Cemetery, Mt. Sterling.
