Larry Furlong

Larry Eugene Furlong, age 65, of Mount Sterling, OH, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2022. He was employed by Trans World Inc. for 38 years. He grew up in Fort Thomas, KY, and graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor’s degree, where he played Rugby. He coached his son’s soccer team for over 7 years. In 1986 Larry and Cassandra went across the United States on their bicycles which took them 90 days to accomplish. Larry enjoyed mowing his grass.   

He is preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Mary Marqurite Furlong; and his sister, Mary Furlong.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years Cassandra; and son, Brad (Erin).

The family will receive friends from 2-4 PM, Friday, April 8, 2022, at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 W. Main Street, Mount Sterling, OH, 43140. A Memorial Service will immediately follow visitation at 4:00 PM.
