Linda Reay

Linda D. Reay, age 60 of Ashville, died Saturday, March 29, 2014 at her residence.  She was born January 6, 1954 in Taswell, TN.

Linda was employed by Nationwide Insurance for 38 years.  She was a 1972 graduate of Madison Plains High School.

Preceded in death by her parents Orville Lee and Mary (Hipsher) Taylor.

Survived by her loving husband, Chris Reay; son Jason (Tiffany) Reay; granddaughters Ella and Sadie; brothers Rick (Joyce) Taylor, Dave (Christy) Taylor; nieces Jessica and Tiffany Taylor; Father-in-law & Mother-in-law Harold and Virginia Reay; sister-in-law Ginger Griffith, brothers-in-law Butch (Linda) Reay and Tim (Pam) Reay, extended family nieces & nephews; Best Friend, Patty Reeves (Chuck).

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, April 3, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling.  Rev. Dortha Ross officiating with special remembrances given by Billy Warner.   The burial will follow in Pleasant Cemetery.  Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5 – 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers family suggest memorial contributions to ALS Association of Central Ohio (Linda Reay’s Team of Hope).  Envelopes will be provided at funeral home.
