Lori Ann Johnson

Johnson, Lori Ann, age 52, of Gahanna, passed away on July 9, 2015. Lori was the matriarch of her family. She adored her grandchildren more than life and was a selfless, God-fearing, compassionate woman. She enjoyed worshipping, singing, and playing the piano in her home church, The Apostolic Church of Truth. She treasured life with her family and never left the side of her soul mate and best friend, “Joe”.
Lori is preceded in death by her son, Joseph Derrick Johnson, and mother, Shirley Ann Grover. She is survived by her beloved husband of 33 years, Joseph Johnson; father, Jerry (Nona) Grover; daughters, Leah Rose (Kelvin Howell) Johnson, Juilanna Lyn (Keishawn) Starks, and Tina (James) Kelley; grandchildren, Dezbrianna Johnson, Keegan Howell, Kaleah Howell, and Kei’Anna Starks; siblings, Jim (Carrie) Grover, Sheri (Steve) Merritt, John (Sheri) Grover, Jerry Grover II, Christoper (Beth) Grover, Pam (Steve) Zilch, Tammy Craft, and Rhonda Hurst-Notestone. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family will greet friends from 6-8pm on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331, West Main Street, Mount Sterling, OH 43143. As well as from 12-1pm on Wednesday, July 15, 2015, with a funeral service at 1pm, officiated by Bishops Mitchel Butler and Ronald Warnock. Burial will follow at Highlawn Cemetery, Washington Court House.
