Marcia L. Dennis, age 88 of Columbus, died February 18, 2014 at the residence of her son in Carroll, Ohio. She was born June 22, 1925 in Kiousville, Ohio.
Preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Margaret Chamberlain; husband Dwight S. Dennis; son Stan Dennis; sisters Opal Jacobs and twin infant Martha Lou Chamberlain; brothers Bob Chamberlain and Max Chamberlain.
She is survived by son Dwight “Mike” Dennis of Carroll; grandchildren Sarah Dennis and Michael Dennis, both of Denver, Colorado; brother Donald (Janice) Chamberlain of Columbus.
Marcia attended the Heritage Freewill Baptist Church in Columbus; Volunteer work at Ronald McDonald House; retired from Lazarus in Customer Service.
A special thanks to Fairhope Hospice and Pickering House of Lancaster. She will be greatly missed by family and close friends.
A Funeral service will be held 12:00 Noon on Monday, February 24, 2014 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Rev. Tim Stout officiating with the interment following in Pleasant Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to time of service.
Family suggest memorial contributions to Ronald McDonald House, 711 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, OH. 43205 (614-277-3734).
