It is with great sadness that the family of Margaret Ann Hicks Speakman announces her passing on Wednesday, January 16, 2019, at the age of 90. Margaret resided most of her life in Derby, Ohio. Margaret will be lovingly remembered by all that knew her and especially by her children, Cheryl, Carla (Keith)and Steve. She was adored by her nine grandchildren, Richard Hulvey (Ariel), Jonathan Stump, Tracy Stump (Patti), Gina Platt (Robert), Amy Saltsman, Christopher "Chip" Hulvey (Lisa), Jeremy Speakman, Danielle Chapman (Paul) and Jamey Lewis (Holly). Margaret was blessed with 22 great grandchildren Alex, Gabe, Nick, Sophie, Jaxson, Reagan, Ryan, Abbie, Jon, Josh, Jennifer, Justin, Michaela, Garrett, Colton, Elena, Claire, Alexa, Olivia, Kai-Leigh, Desire, Jeremy Craig, and five great-great-grandchildren, Aubree, Laiklyn, Gabriel, Noah, Lincoln. Margaret was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Carl and her daughter Connie Sue Lewis (Lester).

A funeral service in memory of Margaret will be held on Monday, January 21, 2019. Viewing hours are from 12-2pm. The memorial service will follow and be conducted by Rev. Dorthea Ross at Porter-Tidd Funeral Home, 331 West Main St., Mt. Sterling, Ohio. Interment will follow immediately after memorial service in the New Holland Cemetery.
