Marie Swyers

SWYERS Marie (Dials) Swyers, age 86 of Mt. Sterling died Thursday, May 23, 2013 in Madison County Hospital, London. She was born February 14, 1927 in Raceland, KY. The daughter of Farnish and Chlora (Pelphrey) Dials.
Marie was retired from Ohio Willow Wood as a knitter for 30 years; a resident of Meadowview Village where she made many friends and enjoyed their company.
She was preceded in death by parents, husband, Hallard Swyers; brothers James and Oscar; sisters Helen, Leatha, and Nell.
Survived by sons & daughters-in-law, Steve (Linda) Swyers, James (Karen) Swyers; 4 grandchildren Joshua (Amiee) Swyers, Seth (Kylee) Swyers, James (Lisa) Swyers, Christopher Swyers (Amy Tomey); 2 great grandsons William Andrew and Graham Edwin; brother Gene (Elaine) Dials; sister-in-law Jean Dials; several nieces & nephews.
A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Rev. Dortha Ross officiating with the interment following in Pleasant Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 11:00 until 1:00, time of service.
