Martha Ogle

Martha Wanetta Ogle, 86, of Mt. Sterling, Ohio passed away peacefully on November 25th, 2018, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ned P. Ogle, her parents, Howard and Famie Norris and sister Evelyn (Herman) Kull. She is survived by step-children, Julie (John) Smrtnik, grandchildren Ethan, Evan and Seth, Charlie (Donna) Ogle, grandchildren Nathaniel, Natalie and Abigail, Debbie Ogle (Sam Dunlap) and grandchildren Izzy and Ian. She is also survived by sisters Annabel (Walt) Spangler, Naomi (Dorwin) Hay and brother Darrell (Janet) Norris. Martha was born on February 22nd, 1932 on a farm that she grew up on, near Ringgold, Ohio. Martha was a dedicated employee at the Ohio Department of Natural Resources for thirty years.  She was an avid Ohio State fan. She enjoyed boating, crafts, reading, puzzles, square dancing and the Circleville Pumpkin Show. Martha had a special fondness for dogs. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pickaway County Dog Shelter at 21253 Ringgold Southern Rd, Circleville, Ohio 43113.  Family will receive friends on Saturday, December 1st, 2018 from 10-11 a.m. at PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 W. Main St. Mt. Sterling, Ohio 43143 where the Memorial Service will take place beginning at 11 a.m.  Burial of her ashes will take place following service at Pleasant Cemetery, Mt. Sterling, Ohio.
