Mary Ann Myers

Mary Ann Myers (81) of Mt. Sterling, OH passed away in her home surrounded by her loving family on June 23, 2022.  Mary Ann was born in McComb, OH on October 21, 1940 to Gerald and Velora (Bishop) Parker who both preceded her in death.  She graduated from McComb High School and later married her husband, Jerry Myers. After 63 years of marriage, he survives her along with their children, Patricia (Brian) Coady; Teresa (Ted) Bookhamer; Vicki (Rob Brown) DiMarco; Karen Trein; and Jeff (Annette) Myers; 12 Grandchildren, Kathleen; John (Pooja); Kelly (Brandon) Coady; Christopher (Katlin); and Nicholas (Audra) Bookhamer; Erica (David) Quick; Jeremy (Chelsea) DiMarco; and Zac (Laura) DiMarco; Ronald (Megan) Trein; Randy (Miranda) Trein; Paige (Tyler) Emmelhainz; Matt (Bailey) Myers.  17 Great-Grandchildren, Kian and Priya Coady, Audrie Shields, Makenzie Bookhamer, Aiden, Malachi and Teagen Revercomb, Hunter and Walker DiMarco; Silas, Theodore and Madelyn DiMarco; Mason Trein; Tucker and Olivia Trein; Cameron and Corinne Emmelhainz; and sister, Linda DeWeese.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Laura Salzwedel, her son-in-law Scott Trein and her brother-in-law Kenneth DeWeese. Mary Ann was a cook for the Upper Arlington School System and a faithful member of Madison Mills United Methodist Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir.  She also played the piano and organ.  She enjoyed doing needlework and made sure that new members of our family received a homemade Christmas stocking, she also made baby blankets for all of the grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family will receive friends and family for a time of visitation at the Porter-Tidd Funeral Home 331 West Main Street in Mt. Sterling, OH on Sunday, June 26 from 4PM-8PM.  Then there will be a funeral service on Monday, June 27^th at the funeral home at 10:30 AM, Chris Henderson-Johns officiating.  Burial at Madison Mills Cemetery will follow immediately after the service.
