Mary Jean Riffle

Mary Jean “Jeanie” Riffle, age 81, of Mt. Sterling, passed away October 9, 2012. Loving wife and mother, doting grandmother and great grandmother, avid reader, loyal Ohio State fan and active Alumni of Chillicothe High School Class of ‘49. Preceded in death by father Gordon, mother Edith and daughter Valerie Beale. Survived by husband David B. Riffle, sons Tracey (Rita) Riffle and Eric (Tracy) Riffle, daughter Julie Riffle, grandchildren Natalie Beale, Kristen (Jeff) Castle, Whitney Justice, Cassandra Riffle, Charissa (Nick) Mathews, Jackson Riffle, Stephanie (Josh) Mund, David (Ashley) Riffle and Stacy (Kevin) Daniels, great grandchildren Aubrey Nelson, Ella and Tenley Mund, Nolan Daniels, Keegan Riffle, Chloe and McKenna Castle, aunt Maxine Richardson, cousin Bill Richardson and son-in-law Edwin Beale. Family will receive friends Friday 4:30-7:30 pm at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 West Main St., Mt. Sterling, OH. Family will also receive friends 11-1 pm Saturday at FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME, 77 East 5th St., Chillicothe, OH; where funeral service will follow at 1 pm Saturday. Interment Floral Hills Memorial Garden. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Loving Care Hospice, London, OH.
