Michael Crawford

Michael J Crawford, born in 1945 to Pat and Donna Belle Crawford.  He passed away at Doctors Hospital on January 1, 2018 with his family by his side.  Mike married his high school sweetheart, Sue (Anderson) Crawford on September 12, 1965.  He graduated from The Ohio State Institute of Technology in Columbus, Ohio and they moved to Rochester, New York where Mike worked for Xerox.  He served in the United States Army from 1966 - 1968. He and Sue had three children, Kevin (Kim) Crawford, Angela (Paul) Fischer and Melissa (Dale) Kilgore.  They have 7 grandchildren Lynn and Jenna; Ryan, Kennedy, and Grant; Trevor and Lauren. Preceded in death by father Pat and mother Donna Belle and sister Mevelyn Neff. Survived by wife Sue, children, brother Danny (Sierra) Crawford, brother-in-law, Charles Neff; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mike retired from Xerox in 2000 with 35 years of service.  He was a loving and wonderful Husband, Father, Grandfather and Uncle.  He will be greatly missed by all of us, but we know that Heaven has gained another Angel. A Funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling.  Rev. Dortha Ross and Rev. Karen Crawford officiating.  The interment will follow in Pleasant Cemetery.  Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30.
