Opal Smalley

Opal Smalley, age 85, passed away at London Health and Rehab Center on Wednesday, July 11, 2018.  She was born November 14, 1932 in London, Ohio.

Preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Stringfellow and Mildred (Bentley); husband, Richard D. Smalley; and son Richard C. Smalley.

She is survived by her loving family; sons Ricky Lee Smalley of London, Ronnie Smalley of Springfield, Chris Smalley of Sedalia, and Randy Smalley of Grove City; daughters Donna Mae Blentlinger of London, Ginny Smalley of London, and Ruby Ann Smalley of Texas; sister Rose Smalley of Washington Court House; brother Kenneth Stringfellow of Florida; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 16, 2018 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling.  Rev. Gordon Ell officiating with the interment following in Range Township Cemetery, Sedalia.  Family will receive friends beginning 12:00 noon until time of service.
