Patricia Riley

Patricia (Quincel) Riley, born July 2, 1929, in Columbus, Ohio, passed away at the age of 95, in Jacksonville, Florida on Monday, January 27, 2025. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years Robert “Bob” Riley, mother Carrie Buchanan, father and stepmother Harold and Ruth Quincel, three sisters; Betty Harness, Shirley Kise, and Theresa Brown; two brothers Ron and Paul Quincel, and companion Otis Miller and a very special friend Jewell Roese.

Patricia is survived by one son and his wife Michael and Beverly Riley Jacksonville, Florida; two granddaughters Melissa (Jeffrey) Miller, Middleburg Florida, and Michaela (Michael) Parsons, Middleburg Florida; three great-granddaughters Brandi Miller, Shelby Buonocore, and Aurora (Nick) Cox; great-great-grandchildren; Eli Cox, Joseph, Lucas, Bradley, and Arabella Buonocore, Chase, Caeli, Civanah, Cloie, Cstarr, Ceaven, and Canaan Fannin; three sisters, Jackie (Bill) Simmons, Tonia (Roger) Blankenship, and Deanna (Michael) Huddle; two brothers; Robert (Marjorie) Quincel, and Al (Kyleen) Quincel, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

Pat was a 22-year active member of the United Church of Mt. Sterling, and past Department President of the America Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 417, member of the Order of Eastern Star, and at her request in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society at https://donate.cancer.org

Visitation will be held SUNDAY. February 9, 2025, from 2:00 pm-5:00pm, with a Order of  Eastern Star service at 4:30pm, and the American Legion Ladies Auxilliary Service to follow at 5:00pm at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 W. MAIN STREET, MT. STERLING, OH, 43143. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am, on MONDAY, February 10, 2025, at the Porter-Tidd Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Pleasant Cemetery, Mt. Sterling, OH.
