Patricia Jackson Walker, 89 of Mt. Sterling died Wednesday, April 13, 2011 in Fayette County Memorial Hospital. She was born Aug. 22, 1921 in Delaware County, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late John Patterson and Ione (Kunze) Gray.
Pat graduated from The Ohio State University in 1943; a retired Elementary school teacher of many years; member of the Madison Mills United Methodist Church.
Preceded in death by first husband, Robert C. Jackson; second husband, George H. Walker.
She is survived by her children, Luann Jackson of Columbus, Robert “Chip” Jackson (Kay Tracy), Jeff (Carol) Jackson, both of Washington C.H.; 3 grandchildren, Laurie & Doug Patton of Orient, Jill & Doug Adelsberger of West Jefferson, Rob Jackson (Rachael Gerlach) of Ft. Campbell, KY.; 3 great grandchildren Alexandra Patton, Brody and Lane Adelsberger.
A Memorial service will be held 12:00 Noon on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at the Madison Mills United Methodist Church. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until time of service. Rev. Chris Johns officiating.
In keeping with Pat’s wishes, cremation was requested. Burial will be at a later date in the Madison Mills Cemetery. The family is being served by the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, Mt. Sterling.
