Pauline Dyer

Pauline Dyer, age 88, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2024. She was born on September 26, 1936 in Deevert, Kentucky to the late Henry and Lucy Marshall.

Pauline loved cooking, working puzzles, watching the Cincinnati Reds play baseball and Ohio State football, and most of all spending time with her family and friends. She spent many years working for Fayette County Head Start until she retired. She also greatly enjoyed attending and volunteering at the Madison Mills Church. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Lucy Marshall, her beloved husband, Clayton Dyer, and her son, Randy Dyer.

Pauline is survived by her loving children, Debbie (Jeff) Boylan, Paulette (Roger) Rheinscheld, Donna (Mike) Albright and Steve Dyer, her siblings, James Marshall, Shirley Buckler, Bernice Randolph (Richard Stearns), Laverne Eichenlaub and Ron (Gail) Marshall, grandchildren, Courtney Sollars, Jennifer Boylan, Felecia (Kyler) Woolever, Clayton (Kailee) Dyer, Austin (Bayley Iles) Dyer, Alec Albright and Aaron Albright, and her great grandchildren, Henry, Hudson, Houston and Charlotte Woolever, Nick, Noah, Nash, Neil, and Lyla Dyer.

The family will receive friends and family for a visitation and funeral service on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at the Porter-Tidd Funeral Home, 331 West Main Street, Mt. Sterling, Ohio, 43143. The visitation will begin at 10:00am and end at 12:00pm for the service to begin immediately following at 12:00pm. We will then go in procession to Madison Mills cemetery for a graveside service. Everyone is invited to head to Madison Mills Methodist Church after the graveside for a gathering & meal.
