Phillip Yahn

Phillip Yahn, age 56, of Mt. Sterling went Home to be with his Lord Savior and Jesus Christ on Friday, December 14, 2018 at Fayette County Memorial Hospital.  He was born in Fayette County, Ohio on April 7, 1962.  He was retired as a Building Maintenance Supervisor for the Ohio State School for the Blind.  Preceded in death by his parents, Isaac Eugene Yahn and Ethel Mae (Scott) Yahn; sisters Blanche Michael and Sharon Martindale; nephew Gary Martindale; father-in-law and mother-in-law Francis and Edith Redding. He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda; son Joshua Phillip Yahn; daughter Ashley (Matthew) Sanderson; granddaughter Skyla Sue Sanderson; sister Debbie (Kevin) Persinger.  A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling.  Rev. Danny Dodds and Rev. Dortha Ross officiating with burial in Madison Mills to follow.  Family will receive friends one hour prior to time of service beginning at 12:00 noon.
