Ralph "Eddie" Briggs

Ralph Edward "Eddie" Briggs, 64 of Mt. Sterling died suddenly and unexpectedly on January 25, 2015. He was born in Chillicothe, Ohio on January 22, 1951 to Ralph H. and Ann Briggs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Carol Bush and brother Terry Briggs.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce; son Eddie (Tobi) Briggs; daughters Victoria June Briggs, Amanda Dusti Mae Shoemaker; step-daughter Christy Liff; grandchildren Taylor Briggs, Logan Alysia Siscot, Rowan and Gavin Kemp and Wyatt Shoemaker; great-grandson Johnathan Isaiah; step-grandchildren Taylor Harris and Christiania Liff; half-sister Jenny Briggs and half-brother Jon Briggs; the blended Morten family, Velma, Theresa, Sheri, Scott and Billy; nieces, nephews, and many friends.
He loved movies, Harley's and all kinds of auto racing. Because of his big heart, he was an organ and tissue donor of Lifeline of Ohio. This donation will assist up to 50 people. His homemade donuts and cabbage rolls and poka-dot pizza was a favorite of many.
A Funeral service will be held 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. The interment will follow in Pleasant Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home.
