SCHWAIGERT Ralph “Ike” Schwaigert, age 83 of Columbus, died Friday, August 31, 2012 in Doctors West Hospital. He was born April 3, 1929 in Columbus, Ohio. The son of the late Frank and Anna (Stroup) Schwaigert. Ike was a retired truck driver.
He is survived by wife, Ruth Joy Schwaigert; sons James (Rachel) Schwaigert, Rodney (Elaine) Schwaigert, Roger Schwaigert, all of Columbus; 3 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has been requested. Burial of his ashes will be at a later date in Pleasant Cemetery, Mt. Sterling, Ohio.
The family is being served by PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling.
Family would like to thank the staff of Doctors West Hospital for all their special care and concern.
