Ray Kemper

Harlen "Ray" Kemper, age 80, of Mt. Sterling, passed away September 26, 2021. He worked at Falters Meat Packing for 61 years, was a member of Mt Sterling CCCU and enjoyed mowing lawns. Preceded in death by parents Pearl and Mary Kemper, father and mother-in-law Roy and Mary Burger, brother Harold "Grip" Kemper, sister in laws- June Kemper, Linda Deel and Joyce Twyman, brothers in law Roger Deel, Ron Twyman and Pat Stout, niece Vicki White, nephews Rowdy White, Todd Deel and Gregg Deel. Survived by loving wife of 60 years Carole Kemper, children Kim (Wendall) Harris and Rocky (Kelly) Kemper, sister Joan Kemper, grandchildren Jessica (Jim) Liddle, Justin Kemper and Rachel (Aaron) Follrod, great grandchildren Chance and Julianne. Family will receive friends 1-3 pm and 5-7 pm Thursday at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 West Main St., Mt. Sterling, OH 43143; where funeral service will be held 11 am Friday. Interment Pleasant Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt Sterling Community Center.
