Ray Perkins

Ray Perkins, age 80, of Jeffersonville, OH, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024. Born October 18, 1943, to Raymond and Darlie (Artrip) Perkins. Ray was a farmer and enjoyed being a carpenter. 

He is preceded in death by his parents Raymon and Darlie (Artrip) Perkins, sisters Donna Rinehart, and Karen Ward, brother Billy Perkins, and granddaughters Amanda and Annette Vansickle.  

Ray is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Sherry "Mom" Perkins; daughter: Darlene (Timothy) Vansickle; sons: Tommy (Tracey) Perkins, and Kenneth Perkins; 4 sisters and 2 brothers; 8 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren; and his beloved fur baby Rosie. 

The family will welcome friends on WEDNESDAY, February 7, 2024, from 6:00-8:00 PM, and on THURSDAY, February 8, 2024, from 11:00- 12 NOON, where the Funeral Serivce will immediately follow at 12 NOON at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 W. MAIN STREET, MOUNT STERLING, OH, 43143. Ray will be laid to rest at the Bloomingburg Cemetery, in Bloomingburg, Ohio.
