Richard D. Redman

Richard D. Redman, age 94, of Mt. Sterling, Ohio, was called home by the Lord on Wednesday, May 5, 2021.  Born in Madison County, Ohio to the late Kenneth and Frances Redman, Dick was a general contractor and owner of Fashion Home Builders.  He was a long-time member of the First United Methodist Church of Mt. Sterling.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife Florence, his son-in-law Tom Seeley and his daughter-in-law Karen Sue Redman.  Dick is survived by his son Richard S. Redman, his daughter Catherine Seeley, his  grandchildren: Tracey (Jon) Lindsey, Jeramie Redman, Shanna (Dave) Shepherd, Shelby (Mark) Erslan and T.J. (Nicole) Seeley, and his 13 great-grandchildren.  Dick is also survived by his many great friends and wonderful neighbors.  Family will receive friends from 11:00a.m.-1:00p.m TUESDAY, MAY 11, 2021 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 West Main Street, Mt. Sterling, OH 43143 where his Funeral Service will follow the visitation and begin at 1:00p.m. TUESDAY with Reverend Karen Crawford, officiating.  Burial will follow at Pleasant Cemetery, Mt.
